International Journalism Honor Society Club
Quill and Scroll
Club Description: Quill and Scroll is an international honorary society for high school journalists. Quill and Scroll seeks to encourage individual initiative in high school journalism, thereby enabling the individual to contribute greater skill to the journalistic endeavor, and to recognize and reward the individual achievements of students engaged in journalistic activity. Additionally, it seeks to elevate publication standards, to promote research, and to improve instructional standards. Only honor society specifically for journalists.
Requirements: Sophomores, Juniors, and seniors in the upper third of their class who have significantly contributed to the newspaper, yearbook, and/or television news are eligible for membership.
